Have You Seen The Arabian Nights Dinner Show?
Since 1988, the Arabian Nights Dinner Show has been a huge attraction, inspiring awe in visitors to Orlando, Florida with each show. This, the ultimate in dinner shows, is staged in the largest indoor equestrian center in the world used for a permanent show.
The tale of Princess Scheherazade in her search for her true love, Prince Khalid, is told in a truly magical production featuring more than 65 horses, breathtaking costumes and thrilling, expert horsemanship. All of this is done with the very latest in lighting, sound and special effects technology. All who have seen it agree that the Arabian Nights Dinner Show is an experience which they will never forget.
As soon as you enter the 1,200 person capacity Palace of Horses, you will be swept away by the magic and energy filling the air as you are escorted to your seats, each of which gives an excellent view of all the happenings onstage. Horse enthusiasts will be amazed by the elegance and beauty of the horses: Arabian horses, the charming Andalusian horses, the heavy Percherons and Belgian horses, Painted horses reminiscent of the Old West and of course, the Black Stallion - the star of the show. Walter Farley’s Black Stallion, familiar to all of us from movies, books and television has become an icon of the Arabian Nights Dinner Show; and he is truly impressive.
If you are accustomed to the food at typical Dinner Shows, then you know it can be a little predictable and bland - and sometimes barely warm. Prepare yourself for a surprise then. The Arabian Nights Dinner Show will confound these preconceptions. For your main course, you can choose from New York Strip Steak, Grilled Chicken Breast, Black Angus Chopped Steak or a Primavera Penna Pasta Bowl (which can be prepared as suitable for vegans as well as vegetarians). In addition, there’s a fresh salad and a delicious dessert - as well as unlimited beer, wine or Pepsi products. And the food is good! If you have special dietary needs, then, as long as you give the venue prior notice, this won’t present them with any problems.
Mark Galen Miller and his family have capably produced the Arabian Nights Dinner Show since its beginning 20 years ago and is recognized as the greatest show of its kind in the world. The Arabian Nights Dinner Show has won many awards for Best Theme Restaurant, Best Dinner Theater, Best Performing Arts Group and Venue and many others. Since the show is constantly evolving with new ideas incorporated al the time, there is a loyal repeat clientele.
This is one of those very special events that truly appeals to the whole family. The show has variety, magic, spectacle and color - all linked with scintillating choreography and unsurpassable equestrianism. There’s even a chariot race to stir the blood. The undoubted star of the show, though, is the Black Stallion himself, performing a number of amazing cameo roles without a rider or even a halter.
Certainly a highlight of any visit to Orlando, the Arabian Nights Dinner Show is a memorable experience. For an additional cost of around 10 dollars per person, you can take advantage of the VIP package. This will mean that not only do you receive a complimentary drink in the VIP lounge before dinner, you will also have seats in the first three rows, a free show poster and the opportunity to go backstage to meet the stars prior to the show.
For anyone who enjoys the thrills and spectacle of excellent live theater, the Arabian Nights Dinner Show is clearly the place to go.
